About Snowghostski
Snowghostski was born out of a passion for Big White. We are dedicated to providing your ideal vacation property in Canada’s largest totally ski-in/ski-out resort.
Having been initially visitors renting properties and, since 2001, owners of properties in Big White, we have a unique insight in to both sides of the rental business and therefore, the needs of each individual client.
Our unique level of personal service means:
We personally visit each of the properties advertised on our site meaning the information you receive is first hand and accurate.
We provide free independent advice on all aspects of your vacation in Big White, from the best skiing, restaurants and activities to visiting Kelowna and the rest of the Okanagan.
Unlike many similar sites Snowghostski will, along with our partners on the mountain, guarantee your booking through an IATA bonding. If for any reason the accommodation you have booked through us becomes unavailable we will arrange for an alternative at no extra cost.
Our on mountain partners will personally greet you upon arrival, help you settle into your property with a guided tour and be available to answer any local queries you may have.
Personal Profiles
Mark Simmons
Mark’s background is in senior retail management. He was also the owner of the top rated restaurant in Windsor for 14 years. Having skied throughout Europe and much of the U.S.A. since the mid-seventies he fell in love with Big White when first visiting. He has owned properties in the resort since 2001 and is a C.S.I.A qualified ski instructor, trained at Big White. Mark brings a passion for providing the very highest level of customer service to Snowghostski.
Lee Gurd
Lee’s background is in legal services having practiced as a Lawyer in the UK since 1990. More recently he has managed a law firm with two partners. Having not skied since the late 80’s Lee was introduced to Big White by Mark and his family in 2007. Immediately falling in love with the mountain (and skiing once again) he brings a wealth of experience in service and structural organisation.
